Round 1 of France Nationals was held this weekend in beautiful Porto-Vecchio.

As is customary in Europe, number of classes is much smaller (less than half of US), and yet the total number of riders is larger.  However, the most amazing is the fact that all of that was possible without a single sitdown class!  France National tour only has standup and sport classes.

2011 Aquabike Ladies Ski World Champion Julie Bulteau's season did not start well.  In Moto 1 technical problems resulted in the last place, but at least that got her some points, unlike Motos 2 and 3, where she got 0 points each.
