There was a big screwup in last weekend's IJSBA Eurotour stop in Austria.

Here is how Kevin Reiterer, the original leader of the race saw it. This is a copy of his original post:

"What can I say... I did everything to get the European title and would have won it. But after a bouy went lose on the track in the last moto and due to the track changes they did that weekend I got confused and went twice to a wrong marker. I realised it and picked up the black bouy a couple of times because I had a big lead anyway. After the moto we had a meeting with the three podium finsihes about the penalty. Peter De Smet took responsibility for the track and said we should be voting for the decision and they will decide. Valentin Dardillat would have gotten second if I didn't get a penalty. he didn't want to win that way and voted for no penalty and he was confused as well on the track.

However the race organisation decided that I will be penalized.

I am not the only one I guess that has gone through a huge failure of the organisation this weekend. This is not how races should go and how European titles should be decided.

As a matter of fact I will not be continuing to follow the last round of the tour, as well as I am out of the championship due to points already.

Thank you to all the people that put a lot of effort in doing this event and showing austria our sport! It has been a asshome!! It's been a great pleasure to have Team Flamingo here and lots of family and friends supporting! And Valentin and his family for his great sportsmanship- you are the man!"
